King Promise wins Album of the year for ‘5 Star’ at 2023 VGMAs

King Promise has been awarded with this year’s Album of the Year award for his album ‘5 Star’.

The record beats out projects from Black Sherif, Gyakie, Kwesi Arthur and Gospel artist Joe Mettle.

King Promised released 2022, and it included only a feature from Omah Lay, Headie One, Frenna, Patornking, Bisa, Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa and WSTRN.
